President of Dynamo Kyiv Igor Surkis commented on the transfer of now former club midfielder Viktor Tsyhankov to Spanish Girona.

“I understood that Tsygankov had been wanting to leave for a long time. If not for the war, his transfer would have been more civilized. And so Tsygaknov took advantage of the pause that was: he agreed with Girona, and his agents and father had a great influence on him.

But we didn’t lose anything financially from Tsygankov’s transfer. If he plays well in Girona, he will be sold to some top club, and we will receive 50% of the transfer amount. And in "Girona" Tsygankov is constantly in sight, spectators, experts evaluate his game. So his next transfer may be even bigger for us in terms of amount than if he were sold from Dynamo to another club on different terms.

I want to emphasize that before this winter transfer window, we did not have a single concrete offer for Tsygankov. So my conscience is clear. Tsygankov left - that's his right. In terms of money, it was from this transfer that we received less than we wanted, but if we look at the prospect, we have not lost anything.

We will be patient and wait. I will be rooting for Tsygankov so that he reaches the best level, and he is sold. And if this does not happen - well, then this is his fate. And the price for which we sold it,” Surkis said on the air of the Profootball Digital program.
