Well-known journalist and commentator Igor Tsyganyk spoke on the air of the Tsyganik Live program about the situation in Metallist Kharkiv.
“I don’t think that Metalist will be relegated to the first league based on the game. What will happen in case of departure? It is known for sure that there is funding until the end of this season, and it is decent. There is some salary arrears, but gradually it is being paid. I can say for sure that if Metalist even relegates to the first league, then funding will be significantly reduced, but the club will not disappear,” Tsyganik said.
