"Bayern" for the first time since 2015 with a crushing score lost in the playoffs of the Champions League

Bayern Munich lost by a huge margin in the Champions League play-offs for the first time since 2015.

According to UEFA's official website, in the spring stage of the tournament, Bayern last lost by the same score in May 2015, when they played against Barcelona in the semi-finals.

Manchester City also handed Bayern their heaviest Champions League defeat since September 2017. Then, with the same score, Munich lost to PSG in the group stage.

It will be recalled that on April 11, the first match of the 1/4 finals of the UEFA Champions League of the 2022/2023 season took place, in which Manchester City and Bayern Munich met. The game ended with the victory of the home team with a score of 3:0.
