Former Dynamo and Ukrainian national team player Pavlo Shkapenko has died at the age of 50, the Bombardier Telegram channel reports.

"Tragic news for the entire Ukrainian football community. Pavlo played for Dynamo Kyiv for six seasons. Six-time champion of Ukraine, three times winner of the Ukrainian Cup.
The Zaporizhzhia football product scored for Barcelona and played for the Ukrainian national team. He also played for Ukrainian clubs Metalurh (Zaporizhzhia) and CSKA (Kyiv).
Pavlo is survived by two daughters.
