At the age of 50, the heart of former FC Dynamo Kyiv player Pavlo Shkapenko, who played for our club in 1992-1998, has stopped beating. On behalf of the club, Dynamo President Ihor Surkis expressed his condolences to Pavlo Leonidovych's family and friends.
Ihor Surkis"The staff of the Dynamo football club and I personally met the sad news of the death of a man who was an integral part of our team's success in the 90s with boundless sorrow.
Pavlo Leonidovych was often at the forefront of the attack on the football field and scored important goals, among which I especially remember the goal against Barcelona in 1993. But most importantly, he was a wonderful and decent person with whom you always had something to talk about.
Unfortunately, he died too soon. And we are left with millions of memories of a football player and a man with a capital letter...
I express my sincere condolences to the family, friends, relatives and everyone who knew Pavlo Shkapenko. The bright memory of him will remain in our hearts forever."
