Manchester City are set to offer striker Erling Holland a new contract with the release clause removed.
According to The Athletic, the Norwegian has a clause in his current contract with the club that would allow him to leave the Etihad for £150m in the summer of 2024. The clause was specifically linked to Pep Guardiola's future, and with the manager extending his contract with City until 2025 back in November, the club are preparing a new contract for Hollande that will have the clause removed.
We will remind that this season, the 22-year-old football player scored 47 goals in 40 matches in all competitions for the "townsmen". His current contract with the Manchester club runs until the summer of 2027.
