Sampdoria hosted La Spezia at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris in a Serie A match that ended in a tight draw. The home side got off to a strong start when B. Amione opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a lucky strike that forced the visitors to rush into the chase. La Spezia made a change to their lineup with D. Verde replacing D.
