777 Partners, which owns shares in Genoa, is in talks to acquire Everton, Tuttomercato reports.

Back in January, the Toffees were officially put up for sale by the current owner Farhad Moshiri for more than £500 million. The holding company 777 Partners has recently intensified its contacts with Everton representatives. The Americans are ahead of other potential investors MSP Sports Capital in the race to acquire the Merseyside club.
