A well-known Ukrainian journalist and commentator, Igor Tsyganik, expressed the opinion on his programme Tsyganik Live that Lviv FC may cease to exist if it is relegated to the First League following the Ukrainian championship season.

I think that it will become uninteresting for investors and I think that in case of relegation, FC Lviv will cease to exist. This is my opinion based on the way things are going there, the situation, and the extent to which investors are interested in the club. I do not think that if the team is relegated, there will be any continuation," Tsyganik said.
