Lucescu had an operation

As planned, Mircea Lucescu, the head coach of Dynamo Kyiv, underwent surgery for aggravated arthritis of the hip joint.

According to Gazeta Sporturilor, the operation took place today, on May 1, in Kyiv, in the National Centre for Orthopaedics and Traumatology. The surgery was headed by Professor Olexander Kosyakov. The whole procedure took only 40 minutes.

Lucescu will stay in the hospital till the end of this week, and then the process of rehabilitation awaits the Dynamo coach, which can take a long time.
