Former Shakhtar striker Ihor Leonov shared his thoughts on refereeing in Dnipro-1 matches.
- Dnipro-1 will play Metalist. Everyone knows the relationship between these clubs. Should we expect any surprises here?
- Metalist has its own objectives, they are fighting for survival, and if they lose, they will make it harder for themselves. I think they will try to impose a fight. I don't want to get involved in the relationship between the clubs.
- In the last five matches, Dnipro-1 has scored four times from the 11-metre mark. Does this mean anything?
- I will say this: at least two penalties were questionable in these matches of Dnipro-1. Sometimes the referees made controversial decisions in favour of Dnipro-1, and there will be more of them.
In the remaining matches, the price of a referee's mistake increases many times over, so I would like the referees to take more responsibility for their work and work well in the end of the season, allowing the teams to determine the champion on the football field.
