Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Diego Costa may become a free agent at the end of this season, the Daily Mail reports.

The Wolves' management has no plans to extend the current contract with the 34-year-old, which expires in June 2023. The Spanish forward is one of the highest paid players in the team, although he does not have regular playing practice.

This season, Costa has played 22 matches for Wolverhampton and scored one goal.
