The clubs had a dialogue and at some stage a compromise was reached. But in the end it was decided to forbid Bouleza to play, so as not to create a precedent for other clubs who have Shakhtar's loaned players in their squad.

There is no direct ban on him taking to the pitch, but the mechanism is standard for such situations - the club will be fined if they use a Shakhtar loaned player against the parent team.
