On Monday, 8 May, Dynamo Kyiv will play a match in the 25th round of the Ukrainian championship against Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih. The match will take place in Kryvyi Rih at the Girnyk Stadium.

On the eve of the match, we analyse the schedule of the top scorers among the current players of both teams.
"KRYVBAS"
Since the current Kryvbas has no direct continuity from the club that played in the Ukrainian championships up to and including the 2012/2013 season, the history of matches between the teams has only 1 match. In that match, Mircea Lucescu's men defeated the Red and Whites at the Lviv Arena with a score of 3-1, with Roman Debelko scoring the goal for Kryvyi Rih.
However, Kryvbas' all-rounder Dmytro Khomchenovskyi managed to hit our goal as a member of Luhansk's Zorya in the 2014/2015 season match, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Interestingly, the head coach of Luhansk was Yurii Vernydub, who is now the head of the club from Kryvyi Rih. In the 2019/2020 season, Dmytro repeated this achievement as a member of the same Zorya team under the leadership of Viktor Skrypnyk - our team lost that game with a score of 1-2.
Yevhen Opanasenko is another former Zorya player who scored for the White and Blues. In the 2016/2017 season, he brought the Black-and-Whites a victory at the NSC Olimpiyskiy in the last minutes in his last match for Kyiv as a player of the legendary Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, who is currently the acting head coach of our team. In the 2017/2018 draw, Yevhen repeated this achievement at the Slavutych Arena in Zaporizhzhia, where the match ended in a phenomenal 4-4 draw.
Another Kryvbas player, Yevhen Banada, also scored a goal for Dynamo. He did it as a member of Oleksandriya in the 2016/2017 season, and the game ended in a 5-1 home win for Kyiv.
Mykyta Tatarkov scored for Kyiv as a member of Chornomorets Odesa in the 2016/2017 match. Dynamo celebrated a 4-1 victory in that match.

The players of our team have not previously scored against Kryvbas in other teams, as the team from Kryvyi Rih spent their first two seasons in the Second and First Leagues respectively. But in the only head-to-head match to date, Vitalii Buyalskyi (twice) and Vladyslav Vanat scored goals.
