The commercial director of Dnipro-1, Vyacheslav Fridman, expressed his opinion on the situation with the transfer of Shakhtar's Ukrainian league games to Lviv.
- Now, apart from financial incentives, the issue of who plays on which pitch and where is being discussed separately. "Shakhtar are actively inviting teams to play at Arena Lviv, but I believe that absolutely any club can play there. And it will be very difficult for Dnipro 1 to play there: there are perfect conditions, the pitch is perfect, the wind does not blow in any direction. There is no pitch. And I`ve watched the latest games and noticed that the players of Dnipro 1 are often hampered by the quality of the lawn: Pikhalenok`s game vs Dynamo Kyiv was blown away by a bump, and now the day before that Adamiuk did not close the pass, as the ball hit a bump. The bump is a very serious story.
"Shakhtar play at Arena Lviv in ideal conditions, nothing can be said about it, it is great that they took this stadium. They live there nearby, I've been to the Emily Resort - there are ideal conditions for living and training. It is a 10-minute drive from the "Emily Resort" to the "Arena Lviv", so they invite everyone to visit them. Now Povoroznyuk is thinking whether to go or not. Because we had information that they had agreed with Inhults to play at Arena Lviv.
But you try it, come to Petrovo, where the wind blows and the lawn is uneven. But Shakhtar have the squad to beat any club in ideal conditions. But in my opinion, it is a direct bribe. Paying for travel, hotel is the same as giving money. Let's call things by their proper names," Friedman said.
