Former Dynamo striker Brown Ideye, who has been playing for Al-Yarmouk in Kuwait since August last year, has denied the information that he had children with a Ukrainian woman outside of his legal marriage during his career at the Kyiv club.
Brown Ideye- As a true professional, my routine has always been strictly centred around club activities, the gym and my family, with little or no time and space for outside communication, let alone having secret extramarital affairs for a long time that could have resulted in three children, which is impossible given all the media attention I received as one of the most important players in Ukraine at the time and then in other countries where I also played.
These blackmailers always appear in the media and send the same petition to my clubs every time I sign a new contract. This is a kind of pressure on me to contact them to settle the situation and pay the ransom. Not many people who are really close to me can say that I am a family man who loves his wife and children. Please believe me, this is all blackmail," Sports247 Naija quoted Ideye as saying.
