According to the source, 23-year-old footballer is ready to acquire the citizenship of Suriname to play for the national team of this country.

Apart from Lonwijk, Stefano Denswil (Trabzonspor Turkey), Doraso Klas (Den Hague Netherlands), Deyshawn Redan (Venice Italy) and Virgil Misicjan (Twente Netherlands) are reportedly also ready to apply for a Surinamese passport.
