Three rounds before the end of the Polish championship, the name of the winner of the gold medals became known: for the first time in Polish history, Rakuw, whose colours are defended by Ukrainian striker Vladyslav Kochergin, became the champion.
Now Rakuw, who lead the standings, has 71 points, the next placed Legia - 60. So, at best, Legia will be able to catch up with the leader on points, but in terms of head-to-head encounters, Rakuw have the advantage (4:0, 1:3).
It should be added, that this season Kochergin played for Rakuw 41 games in all competitions (on 30 occasions he took to the pitch as a starter), and on his account he scored 10 goals and two assists.
