Real Madrid then made the last substitution of the match, producing Nicolás Fernandez in place of Luka Modrić in the 87th minute. The match ended 1-1, bringing both Real Madrid and Manchester City a point each in the UEFA Champions League. With such a tense and passionate scoreline, the fans in attendance and those watching from home must have wanted more from these two strong teams.
