As previously reported, Inter beat AC Milan 2-0 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final yesterday. This is the first time Inter have beaten Milan in a European competition.
Prior to that, the rivals had met on the international stage three times, with two draws and a win for AC Milan, reports Opta.
It must be recalled, the return leg between Inter and AC Milan is set for next Tuesday, May 16. In the other semi-final tie, Real Madrid CF and Manchester City FC are in a tie for the final of the UEFA Champions League this season. The first leg between the two sides ended in a 1-1 draw.
