Former Dnipro, Shakhtar and Ukraine forward Yevhen Selezniov has announced that he will play his farewell match in Uzhhorod.
Evgeny Seleznev"My Ukraine - from Donetsk to Uzhhorod". This is the title of the charity farewell match we are organising. I want to say goodbye to my playing career with my friends. I want the spectators to enjoy the game, and most importantly, I want our military to benefit from this meeting. Ukrainian soldiers are our main stars! The stars not only of Ukraine, but of the entire civilised world, which has united to resist the bloody invader.
This match is really a farewell for me, but I dedicate it to our defenders. If not for them, there would be no football, no Ukraine. Thank you, boys and girls!
The match will take place in Uzhhorod at Avangard. There is less than a month left. We have a lot of work to do. We want to hold the match at a high level to raise a serious amount for our military. We depend on them, and they need our support. Together we will win. Glory to Ukraine, friends!" Selezniov wrote on his Instagram page.
