Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola is unhappy that the Citizens' match against Everton will take place on Sunday, 14 May. According to the coach, given the clash with Real Madrid in the Champions League, the team has too little time to prepare.
"The matches at Goodison Park have been difficult for all six years I have been working in England. Because of the situation at the stadium, and now because of the situation Everton are in. Sean Dyche is a great coach for this team. It will be especially difficult because this match is between the Champions League matches. But all my thoughts are about Everton, we have to concentrate on this game.
We've been working for 11 months to win the Premier League, I don't want to be distracted by the Real Madrid game. We don't have much time because the match against Everton is on Sunday. Thank you very much for that. The match at Goodison Park is really a priority," Guardiola's words were quoted by Manchester City's official website.
