Myroslav Stupar, a well-known referee in the past, gave his opinion on the refereeing in the match of the 26th round of the Ukrainian championship between Dynamo and Chornomorets (2-3) in a commentary to 1927.kiev.ua.
- Vitaliy Romanov refereed well. When necessary, he punished with yellow cards. There was an appeal from Vanat that there was a handball, the broadcasters did not show us this moment in detail, but probably everything was clear. There were no other difficult moments for the refereeing. The teams played football, were not rude, did not run into each other. It turned out to be a good sporting battle, in which Chornomorets proved to be stronger.
Dynamo's defenders, and not only them, react late. The opponent started faster and scored a goal. It's hard for Shovkovskyi. We can only sympathise with him," Stupar said.
