Chelsea midfielder Ngolo Kante will no longer play this season, the Blues' head coach Frank Lampard has announced.
Ngolo Kante, Getty Images"We lost Ngolo yesterday in training. He felt some discomfort in his groin area, so it will probably take a couple of weeks, and we understand what that means. So we have to keep going," Lampard was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.
It will be recalled that Kante has missed a significant part of this season due to a back thigh injury, playing only nine matches for Chelsea in all competitions.
