"Liverpool have no plans to sign Ugarte

"Liverpool are not interested in signing Manuel Ugarte from Sporting Lisbon, Goal reports.

According to a source, the Merseysiders are not interested in signing the 22-year-old. Liverpool have other midfielders on their radar, including Alexis McAllister of Brighton, Mason Mount of Chelsea and Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich.

Nevertheless, Ugarte is also being courted by other clubs, including Chelsea, and Sporting head coach Ruben Amorim has admitted that Manuel could be sold.
