Yesterday's 1-0 home game between Kryvyi Rih and Rukh L'viv in round 26 of the Ukrainian championship was a jubilee one for the hosts' head coach Yuriy Vernidub.
The 57-year-old now has 100 wins in the Ukrainian championships as a coach.
"I am very happy that this victory was my 100th in the UPL. But the main thing is for Kryvbas to take as high a place in the standings as possible (with four games remaining before the end of the current Ukrainian championship, they are in the sixth place, with a chance to finish fifth - editor's note). The club president and I want to build a strong team here and we will go towards it," Vernidub commented on his achievement.
