Verona and Torino faced each other in a Serie A match at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi, with both teams looking to win. Verona's Oliver Abildgaard received a yellow card in the 70th minute and the excitement in the match began to heat up. Verona made one last substitution in the 77th minute when F. Depaoli was replaced by M. Faraoni. Just two minutes later, F. Depaoli received a yellow card for foul play against Torino player P. Shurs. Torino made two final substitutions in the 90th minute: R. Vieira came on instead of S. Ricci and V. Lazaro replaced J. Caramoha. The final whistle blew and the match ended in a 0-1 win for Torino. Despite Verona's efforts in the second half, they failed to level the scores. It was a thrilling encounter which left the fans waiting for the next encounter between the two sides.
