With two rounds to go, Feyenoord are now leading the league table, 8 points ahead of second-placed PSV. Thus, the team from Rotterdam are now beyond the reach of their nearest pursuer.
This title is the 16th in Feyenoord's history. The team is third in the country in the number of titles. The most decorated Dutch club is Ajax, which has won the title a record 36 times (in this season, however, the team from Amsterdam occupy only the fourth position). PSV are second, having triumphed 24 times.
