Simone Inzaghi, Inter head coach:"In a couple of days we will realise what we have achieved. It was our dream. But we have always believed in it. We have come an unbelievable way. To win such a semi-final derby is nothing short of encouraging.
I have never made any promises and I won't start. But I do know that we have made a splash in all the tournaments. We played every third day from 1 April to 16 May, but the reward has been two finals. And we've added to the championship in a big way. The boys are great!".
Stefano Pioli, AC Milan head coach:"The players gave it their all on the pitch in both games. "Inter deserved to win and we congratulate them. We had a hope of reaching the final. We did not reach the final, and I am, of course, disappointed. We have learned a lot this season.
We were the youngest team to win the title last year, the way this team is not to be judged negatively. We had a great tournament in the Champions League this season".
