Switzerland has seized more than $113 million on the accounts of companies whose ultimate beneficial owner is former MP, shareholder of Bank Finance and Credit JSC, owner of Vorskla, Kostiantyn Zhevago, the SBI said in a release.

The State Bureau of Investigation, together with the Asset Recovery and Management Agency, is working to recover the funds. The money was seized on the basis of the relevant ruling of the investigating judge of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv on 26 October 2022 at the request of the SBI.

"Currently, the SBI is taking measures to apply the mechanism for transferring the seized funds to the ARMA with the assistance of the Swiss side," the statement said.
