Five Premier League clubs to sue Everton

Several Premier League clubs are ready to take Everton to court for its illegal actions, the Daily Mail reports.

According to the source, Everton's rivals Southampton, Leicester, Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Burnley, who won the Premier League, have already informed the Premier League bosses that they will demand monetary compensation from Everton if the Toffees manage to avoid relegation.

The fact is that the EPL's independent commission continues to consider the case of a possible violation of financial fair play by Everton.

Initially, Everton's rivals demanded that the proceedings be expedited and that sanctions against the Merseyside club be imposed this season. The Independent Commission decided to take its time, so the five clubs are preparing a lawsuit.
