PFL President Oleksandr Kadenko commented on the direct and early entry of Polissia and Obolon to the Ukrainian Premier League.

"Obolon has an excellent infrastructure, Polissia is completing the construction of a children's academy, the training facilities are ready, and the stadium is being brought up to all UPL standards. The other contenders - Cherkasy's LNZ, Zaporizhzhia's Metalurh and Lviv's Karpaty - have everything they need to play in the UPL. In fact, as many as eight teams in the first league can play in the elite. However, we will need to improve the infrastructure a little bit," Kadenko said.
