Newcastle vs Brighton match review:
Newcastle hosted Brighton in a Premier League match at St James' Park. The start of the match was exciting: in the 22nd minute, Newcastle scored an own goal, giving Brighton the lead. However, after 8 minutes, the situation changed: Newcastle striker D. Undav scored an own goal to level the score. Newcastle started to gain momentum and just before the break they managed to score again, with D. Byrne scoring his team's second goal. Both teams went into the break with the score 2-1 in favour of Newcastle. In the second half, Brighton made three early substitutions in an attempt to turn the game around.
These changes brought results almost immediately as Undav scored, giving his team a decisive equaliser. Unfortunately, their joy was short-lived as Newcastle scored again in the 89th minute. Brighton continued their aggressive play, but Newcastle's defence proved too strong for them. Newcastle ended up scoring 2 more goals in the last minute, with S. Longstaff and B. Guimaraes. The final score was 4-1 in favour of Newcastle, who made a superb comeback after a 1-0 defeat. Their fans were delighted as they witnessed an incredible win for their team. Although Brighton had some promising chances early on, they need to regroup and come back strong in the next game.
