There were teams that, although they were relatively close in the standings of the U19 youth championship (they were separated by only two positions), the difference in points between them reached 10. Dynamo were in second place with 65 points, while Oleksandriya were in fourth place with 55 points. It should be noted that the first round match ended with a 3-0 victory for Dynamo.

The match was exciting, unpredictable and even dramatic. By the 25th minute, Dynamo had secured a confident lead and led 3-0, but towards the end of the first half, the opponents, being in the minority, managed to score two goals and reduce the deficit to a minimum of 3-2. In the second half, although the teams created chances to score, the score did not change.

In the first minutes, Dynamo tried to play first, while the hosts were on the counterattack. Shostak tried to close the near post, but failed. Once again, Ihnatenko helped his team out, parrying a promising shot by the opponent. But Dynamo took full advantage of their moment: the referee awarded a penalty for a foul on goalkeeper Minchev, and Kremchanin clearly converted it.

Shortly after the counterattack, Dynamo doubled their lead. In the final stages, Tsarenko and Kremchanin successfully played the ball to Yatsyk's left, and Oleksandr made a through ball into the penalty area, where Oleksandriya's Sytnikov cut the ball into his own net.

The third goal was scored by a counterattack from Kyiv after the ball was intercepted in their own half of the field. Our defender Gusev joined the attack, and Kremchanin put the finishing touch with an accurate shot, making it a double.

The Alexandrians responded with a rather dangerous shot, and the crossbar saved our team from a missed goal. But it was just an episode. The hosts made it even more difficult for themselves to get a positive result when, in the 31st minute, Radchenko was sent off for a foul from behind against our player, and the team was left in the minority.

But strangely enough, immediately afterwards, despite Dynamo's considerable advantage, Viktor Bytsyura's men managed to score first one goal and then the second. First, Romanenko took advantage of Ihnatenko's exit from the goal and threw our goalkeeper over, being near the right corner of the penalty area. Three minutes later, Oleksandriya earned a free kick, and after a free kick into the penalty area, Davydenko pushed the ball into the net with his head.

At the beginning of the second half, Oleksandriya earned two dangerous free kicks, but failed to capitalise on them. Dynamo also created several threats at the other team's goal, but it did not come to an accurate shot. Husiev made good breakthroughs down the flank, but none of his teammates responded to his crosses into the penalty area. Ihnatenko did not have any problems with the home side's long shots.

The opponents performed several consecutive standard positions, but during the corner kicks our defenders and goalkeeper acted reliably and smoothly, so the danger was neutralised. Meanwhile, at the opposite goal, Dynamo successfully took a free kick, the first attempt was saved by the Oleksandriya goalkeeper, and after finishing the ball ended up in the net, but a moment earlier the referee had ruled it offside.

Kyiv continued to play the game at their own dictation and control the course of events on the pitch. They executed several standard set pieces, but they were not dangerous. However, the hosts did not sit back in defence either, so the game was dynamic, with both teams maintaining a fairly high pace.

The opponents tried to score several more times before the final whistle, but this did not affect the final result - 3-2 in favour of Dynamo.
