Tottenham also made three substitutions, replacing Richarlison, Emerson Royal and Ben Davies with Daniel Kulusevski, Porro and Tanguy Ndombele. Brentford's Joan Wissa scored the last goal of the match in the 88th minute, ending Tottenham's hopes of a comeback. Brentford made two more substitutions, producing Josh Dasilva and Aaron Hickey in place of Vissa and Mads Rohrslev Rasmussen respectively. The match ended with Brentford picking up a crucial win and Tottenham being left to reflect on their mistakes.
