Dynamo midfielder Samba Diallo played his first match for the Senegal U-20 national team at the FIFA World Youth Championship in Argentina.

In Group C, the Senegalese played against Japan and lost narrowly, conceding a goal from Matsuki on 15 minutes. Six minutes later, a Dynamo player scored a goal, but the goal was cancelled after a VAR review.

Samba, who led his team onto the pitch with the captain's armband, was replaced by Sek in the 73rd minute. The Senegalese will also play in a group with Israel (24 May) and Colombia (28 May). In the match between these teams, the Colombians won 2-1.
