Cherkasy club LNZ ("Lebedinskyy Seed Plant") have secured their participation in the transitional matches for the right to play in the Ukrainian Premier League next season.
Photo: fc-lnz.comThis became known after Oleksandr Kovpak's charges smashed their direct rival Lviv Karpaty with 4:1 in the Matchday 7 of the First League "Promotion Group" and collected 22 points, thus securing the 3-4 position. The Lviv side, on the other hand, are likely to postpone the task of promotion to the top flight next year, before the last round they were 5th, two points behind Metalurh Zaporizhzhya.
In the last round of the promotion group on 27 May, the Greens and Whites will play Obolon, while Zaporizhia will face Ternopil Niva.
