Today, 23 May, the House of Football is hosting a meeting of representatives of UPL clubs, the TaToTake telegram channel reports.
According to the source, one of the topics for discussion is the broadcasting of the Ukrainian championship in the next seasons. Two documents of the project are known.
The first one is the foundation of our own OTT-platform "UPL-TV", the owners of which will be the clubs themselves. There are 6 paragraphs outlining the details, including working with suppliers, the objectives of the project, customization of the platform and holding a tender for production.
The second one is selling the media rights to Ukrainian and/or foreign companies. There are 5 paragraphs describing the details of the creation of rights packages, tendering and related contracts.
The author of the UPL-TV idea is the director of Shakhtar's strategic development and communications department Yuriy Sviridov.
It is known that the clubs adhere to the concept of creating a single product - the first option.
