Mukachevo stadium to be named after legendary Dynamo Kiev player (PHOTO)

Mukacheve stadium of the Children and Youth Sports School will be named after Vasyl Turyanchyk, a legendary defender of Kyiv Dynamo of the late 1950s-1960s.

According to the decision taken at the regular meeting of the Executive Committee of Mukachevo City Council the arena of the Children and Youth Sports School will be called Vasyl' Turyanchyk Stadium.

We shall note that Turyanchyk was born in Mukachevo district. In 2010 he was made an honorary citizen of Mukachevo, and two years ago a monument to him was erected at the new stadium of the Children and Youth Sports School.

We shall remind you that Turyanchyk passed away in March 2022. He was 86 years old.
