Catalan club Barcelona has announced on its official website that left-back Jordi Alba will leave the team at the end of this season.
Jordi Alba, Getty ImagesThe Spaniard's contract, which runs until the summer of 2024, will be terminated by mutual agreement. The 34-year-old has won six La Liga titles, one Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup, five Spanish Cups, four Spanish Super Cups and one Club World Cup with the Blaugranas.
This season, Alba has played 29 matches for Barça, scoring two goals and making six assists.
