Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has hinted that the team should be strengthened with new players in the summer.
"We have a great team for future success, but the standards and requirements must be higher. We will work with this squad in the summer, but we also need to strengthen. We want to fight for the championship, but it has to be realistic for us.
Right now, MU is far from it, so we have a long way to go. We need the best players if we want to challenge for the top spots," Sky Sports quoted ten Hag as saying.
In the postponed match of the 32nd round of the English Championship, the Red Devils beat Chelsea 4-1 and guaranteed themselves a place in the Champions League for next season.
