According to FootballHub, Dnipro-1's managers were so outraged by the match against Vorskla that they considered not going to play Shakhtar at all in protest. After such a match, they were sure that the fate of the championship was already decided. After all, even if Shakhtar won the match in Lviv, there was no hope of them losing points in their last match against Vorskla. And the fate of the match will be decided not in a fair confrontation on the pitch, but in underhand deals with football people in various instances.

However, since the fight for second place, which is very important in the context of participation in European competitions, is also ongoing, the decision not to go to the match with the Shakhtar was not made.

And now, one of the most famous referees in Ukraine has been suspended for life for making blatant mistakes in the Dnipro-1 vs Vorskla match that could cost Dnipro the championship.

Ihor Burbas said that the Refereeing Committee had initiated an internal investigation into the match. It was decided to suspend Yevhen Aranovskyi, who was the main VAR referee for this match, from refereeing for life. According to our information, this information is true. However, it is incomplete. "Dnipro-1 lodged a protest against the referee's decision. And insists that not only VAR referee Aranovsky should be suspended from refereeing, but also the match's chief referee Yaroslav Kozik, who made the final decisions in this match.

Thus, the UAF acknowledged refereeing errors in the match that almost decided the fate of the championship, as Shakhtar are 5 points ahead of Dnipro-1 with 2 rounds remaining, and Dnipro's chances of winning the title look slim.
