Due to FIFA's extension of permission for Ukrainian clubs' internationals to move to any team virtually unilaterally, Shakhtar Donetsk risk losing their Israeli winger Manor Solomon for free.
The 23-year-old is spending the current season at Fulham and could stay in the English Premier League next year.
With Solomon's contract with the Pitmen running until 31 December, the Israeli will in fact be able to sign with any club interested in his services in a month's time and move there for free.
To fulfil FIFA requirements, Solomon will need to notify Shakhtar of his temporary transfer to the team of his choice by July 1, and on January 1 Manor can make a full transfer.
Tottenham are ready to take advantage of the situation, who have already started talks on Solomon's transfer.
Having said that, the Israeli winger can count on a good salary offer, as his potential new club will not have to pay Shakhtar's kickback, and the money saved could go towards improving the player's personal conditions.
Solomon has played 23 games for Fulham this season, in which he has scored 5 goals.
