Al Ain head coach Sergei Rebrov has announced that he is stepping down as team coach.
Sergei Rebrov"Today's match is my last with Al Ain. I had hoped to finish my career at Al Ain by winning the UAE League Cup. I thank the club staff and fans who have supported the team for two seasons. I have spent the last two years with this great team.
We struggled in the championship and we didn't have the chance to prepare for today's match. The match was very tense, but we lost despite our efforts and progress," Rebrov was quoted as saying by the Al Ain official website.
The specialist is now expected to become the head coach of the Ukraine national team.
