The Ukrainian Football Association has officially announced that Dnipro-1 has appealed to the Ethics and Fair Play Committee after the match against Vorskla in the 28th round of the UPL.
"The UAF Referees Committee and the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee received an appeal from Dnipro-1 Sports Club asking them to give a proper assessment of the refereeing actions in the match of the 28th round of the UPL between Dnipro-1 and Vorskla.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the committees had already paid attention to this match before receiving the letter. While the checks within their competence are ongoing, it has been decided to suspend referee Yevhen Aranovskyi from his duties.
Also, while all the circumstances around and during the game between Dnipro-1 and Vorskla are being investigated, we ask the media not to further escalate the situation and not to manipulate information. We will announce the results of the case later. But we are confident that in cooperation with the referees' committee we will give a proper assessment of the situation. After all, football must profess the main value, which is fair play," the UAF said on its official Facebook page.
