Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel has spoken out about the sacking of club chairman Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic from their posts.
"Hasan and Oliver called me about eight weeks ago, persuaded and convinced me that we should do it together. I also persuaded and persuaded my assistants. These two were instrumental in making us go on this journey and we were trusted. So I have to think about it first. I have known about the decision since yesterday. Instead of celebrating, we have another political problem. There is a lot going on and we have to digest it. We have a political problem at the club that is overshadowing this title. Nevertheless, it was not a season we can be happy with," Tuchel said.
