O'Neill was also yellow carded in the 77th minute but the scoreline remained unchanged. In the 83rd minute, Bournemouth made their third and final substitution: A. Smith was replaced by J. Anthony. Everton also made a substitution in the 87th minute: D. Gray was replaced by E. Sims. Despite strong play by both teams, Everton's early goal proved decisive. Thanks to this victory, Everton overtook Bournemouth in the Premier League table and secured three valuable points at home. The game was a testament to the intensity and excitement that football can bring, especially in high-stakes matches such as this one.
