Former Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Svyatoslav Syrota, who joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the first days of the war, is convinced that Ukraine will soon end the war with a victory.
"I hear a lot from different people now, especially women, who are almost in a panic because of the escalation of shelling by this scum.
I tell everyone, dear people, don't worry. Just remember what happened 15 months ago. We had nothing, all foreign companies and embassies had left Ukraine - no one believed in us.
And we had nothing that we have now. And the f@ckers had nothing new, except for the shahids. And we got EVERYTHING. Well, almost everything. I won't even list it - you know what we have. And there is a lot of it. And the whole world supports us!
We just need to get another fleet!
And if we used to go to the front and prepare there, now all our guys are well armed and trained. And we are already at a low start to regain ours.
And this shelling is agony. The usual agony before death.
Just be careful and attentive. Do not neglect the alarm. Go to possible shelters. Inform the authorities if any shelter does not work. And everything will be fine.
It will be over very soon. A victory for Ukraine, a victory for our coalition, a victory for every Ukrainian!
Instead of being nervous, be proud of our guys - those at the frontline and those here shooting down these bastards, those who are exposing the saboteurs.
Be proud of them and help them!
If you see someone filming the work of air defence, report it immediately. Film these people and they will be found.
If you see someone doing something that you think could be used against us, report it. And also film these people and inform the SBU.
Today, our special services, the SBU and the GUR, are the best in the history of Ukraine!
Trust them! And help them!
Victory will be ours!
Glory to Ukraine!" Sirota wrote on his Facebook page.
