Zhytomyr-based Polesye, who won a place in the Premier League following the end of the season, have made their first transfer aimed at strengthening the team ahead of their performance in the country's elite division.
Chijoke AniagbosoThe club announced on its official website the signing of a five-year contract with Nigeria U-20 goalkeeper Chijoke Aniagboso.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper will reportedly join his new team during summer training for the 2023/24 season.
It should be added that Aniagboso was the bronze medallist of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Youth Cup. The goalkeeper played all six of his team's matches in that tournament. The Polesie newcomer currently plays for the Nigerian youth national team at the World Cup (U-20).
