As it has been previously reported, Dynamo Kyiv will play in the Conference League of the new European Cup season. The Bilo-Syni will start in this tournament in the third qualifying round.
If they are successful in the third qualifying round, the Kyivians will progress to the play-off round, where they will qualify for the group stage of the Conference League.
Given Dynamo's position in the UEFA table of club coefficients, the Kyiv team will be guaranteed seeded not only for the draw of the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League, but also for the draw of the play-off round - in case they can make it there.
It's still too early to talk about the complete list of the Bilo-Syni's opponents in the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League. First, we must wait until a number of European championships have been completed (to have the full list of Conference League participants), and second, almost the entire unseeded roster will be made up of the winners of the 2nd qualifying round.
Now we know for sure the names of only three (out of 27) possible rivals of Dynamo in the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League - Hajduk (Croatia), Brann (Norway) and Norshelann (Denmark). All of these teams, just like the Kievers, start in the Conference League from the third qualifying round, but because of their low club coefficient they have no chance of ending up among the seeded teams.
Austria's Austria could be added to the unseeded list, if they can get past Rapid in the battle for a place in the Conference League. As for the rest, the possible rivals for Dynamo will be the winners of the 2nd qualifying round of the Conference League.
The most notable representatives of the second qualifying round (Brugge, Besiktas, Basel, Fenerbahce, PAOK, etc.) in case of qualifying to the next round will fall in the seeded basket, and Dynamo will not become the rivals - given the number of participants in the 3rd qualifying round (54), and the number of clubs with low club odds. So if we talk about possible opponents for Dinamo from the 2nd qualifying round, we will be talking about such teams as Maribor, Neftchi, Osijek, Riga, etc.
As for the play-off round of the Conference League qualifying, firstly, the winners of the third qualifying round will qualify for this part of the tournament, and secondly, the representatives of England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France will start their way in the tournament here.
